Project Angel Food is proud to announce the star-studded lineup for our annual primetime fundraising special, Lead with Love: Going the Distance, airing live Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on KTLA 5.
Presented by City National Bank, the two-hour special will bring together stars from television, film and music, along with members of the Los Angeles community, to raise critical funds for medically tailored meals delivered to people living with serious illnesses throughout Los Angeles County.
Hosted by Eric McCormack, Steven Weber, KTLA’s Jessica Holmes and Loni Love, the live broadcast will feature appearances by Noah Wyle, Amy Poehler, Regina King, Adam Brody, Brooke Shields, Janelle James, Jason Ritter, Valerie Bertinelli, Jamie Lee Curtis, Judith Light, Kym Whitley, Lori Loughlin, Morgan Fairchild, Caroline Rhea, Edward James Olmos and acclaimed Los Angeles artist Robert Vargas, with a special appearance by 94-year-old I Dream of Jeannie icon Barbara Eden. Additional appearances will be announced.
The evening will also feature live performances by Clay Aiken, who will open the show with “Go the Distance” from Disney’s Hercules, along with Tiffany, Em Beihold, Sam Harris and NBC’s The Wiz Live! star Shanice (Williams) Shantay.
Taking donor calls on the All-Star Phone Bank will be Amy Yasbeck, Bruce Vilanch, Will Sasso, Jodie Sweetin, KTLA’s Melvin Robert, with Gregory and Lawrence Zarian.
This year’s theme, Going the Distance, reflects the extraordinary commitment required to reach vulnerable neighbors throughout Los Angeles County with nutritious meals, dignity and human connection — particularly as rising transportation costs place new pressure on our delivery operation.
Every day, Project Angel Food goes the distance for people who depend on us, with 16 refrigerated vans traveling 17,700 miles across 81 routes throughout Los Angeles County. With monthly fuel costs approaching $15,000 — up 55% in just 30 days — we are bringing together an incredible lineup of artists for a joyful night of television to help keep those vans on the road and meals reaching our neighbors in need.
Throughout the live broadcast, viewers will have the opportunity to donate and see their names appear on television screens across Southern California. A donation of just $6 can help cover the cost of a gallon of gas to deliver meals throughout the region; $60 can help provide 10 gallons; and $120 can help fill a tank, keeping Project Angel Food’s drivers on the road for neighbors in need.
