“I feel grateful because Project Angel Food keeps me healthy and has taught me what foods I can eat to stay alive.”

On Thanksgiving Day, over 200 volunteers, celebrities and Project Angel Food staff members will begin gathering before sunrise at Project Angel Food’s kitchen in Hollywood. We will prepare thousands traditional turkey dinners, with green beans, potatoes, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. Then, these beautiful meals will be loaded into cars, and vans and delivered with love and kindness to critically ill men, women, and children in all corners of the communities that make up4,700 square miles of Los Angeles County.

It’s a big responsibility.

Despite the rising food costs that we all feel at the grocery store every week, there are a lot of people depending on us, people like 54-year-old Diane, a grandmother of three, who says Project Angel Food helps her stay strong for her family. We’re asking for your donation to help us prepare and deliver over one million meals this year. And to bring warmth and comfort through hand-delivered homemade meals this Thanksgiving.

With your donation today, you can be part of our tradition―Thanksgiving deliveries which reflect our mission all yearlong―feeding 2,400 of L.A.’s critically ill each day with meals that heal the body, and compassion that brightens the soul.
