John started at Project Angel Food as a dishwasher twenty-seven years ago in 1994 and worked up the ranks to now lead as our Executive Chef. John oversees meal production and chef and kitchen staff personnel.
Hard work, passion, positivity, teamwork, commitment to the community we serve, and collaborative problem-solving are key ingredients to John’s leadership success. He is the mobilizing force to keeping the kitchen running in the wake of the increased demands. John definitely keeps the spirits in the kitchen high with his calming and caring demeanor, his awesome music playlists, and his close attention to all the moving parts and people involved in preparing over a million meals a year.
Even though we are producing meals at the rate of thousands per day, John is committed to making certain that every plate looks and tastes delicious.
