David Kramer is president of leading global talent and entertainment company United Talent Agency (UTA). As part of this executive role, Kramer oversees UTA's motion picture group, which includes its literary, talent, independent film group, media rights and production departments. Additionally, he also directs the agency's comedy touring division, the endorsement & voiceover group, the publishing department, the Audio division, the UTA Foundation, as well as the company’s data and insights group, UTA IQ.

Widely recognized as one of the industry’s leading representatives for filmmakers and screenwriters, Kramer’s clients include critically-acclaimed and top-grossing writers, directors, producers and multi-hyphenates.

Kramer began his career in 1992 in UTA’s highly regarded Agent Training Program, rising through the ranks from the mailroom to the board of directors.

In 2009, Kramer joined UCLA’s Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center and continues to serve on the board. In 2017, he was named to the Advisory Board of the Peabody Awards, which recognizes excellence in storytelling through electronic media. Most recently, Kramer was elected to the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund Media & Entertainment Council, which serves the ten performing arts groups and educational institutions at Lincoln Center.

Raised in Tallahassee, Florida, Kramer earned a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Georgia's Grady School of Journalism (which houses the Peabody offices), minoring in Theater and Business. He then obtained a master’s degree at USC’s film school in the Peter Stark Motion Picture Producing Program.  He is married with two daughters and lives in Los Angeles.
