Vesna Fartek
Sr. Manager of Community Engagement

Vesna started volunteering with Project Angel Food in 2004. Immersing herself in kitchen, office, and event opportunities grew her passion for the mission and love of the people working beside her. When the chance to become a member of the Volunteer Services team presented itself, she didn’t hesitate to apply for the position.

Vesna focuses on growing the volunteer program to increase the opportunities for individual and group involvement. Expanding the department includes the Feed Bead bracelet program, Customized Volunteer Experiences, and the Everest Foundation Telephone Angels Program. Vesna also developed a “mobile” volunteer option, bringing creative projects to studio lots, corporation offices, community centers, and schools. All these changes allowed the inclusion of a more varied team of volunteers.
