A Message from our Executive Director

Dear Supporter,

Our friends at the Tov Foundation have generously agreed to match up to $20,000 in donations from now through the end of the year. This means that when you make a tax-deductible donation to Project Angel Food by December 31, you can help us unlock this incredible gift in full!

The holidays can be an especially lonely time for the people we serve. Plus, the cold weather can compound our clients’ already-challenging symptoms, making it even harder for them to manage their illness with dignity. For many, something SO simple as running the heater is considered a luxury, not an essential.

To help spread warmth and comfort this winter, Project Angel Food is able to provide 1,400+ soft, cozy Sherpa blankets to the critically ill people on our service. The blankets were a gift from our generous supporters at Alexandria Real Estate Equities in Pasadena.

Tony P., a 53-year-old client who’s been on service for more than two years, recently received a blanket.

Even though Tony is wheelchair-bound due to suffering multiple strokes, he chooses to pick up his meals at Project Angel Food instead of home delivery. Tony says picking up his meals is the highlight of his week, giving him an excuse to get out of the house so he can engage with our staff and volunteers. He was especially thrilled this week to discover a beautiful fluffy blanket packed up with his nutritious meals!

I urge you to please make a donation to Project Angel Food today. Your gift will provide a vital lifeline to someone who desperately needs comfort, love, and warmth this winter, AND it will be matched.

As the year comes to a close, please know how much we love and appreciate you. Thank you for helping make the Project Angel Food miracle happen each and every day of the year!

With gratitude,

Richard Ayoub
Executive Director
