Kitchen Request:  The Project Angel Food kitchen is always looking for a few extra hands to dice, slice, mix and scoop.  With a bevy of special events planned during the spring and summer, the more volunteers, the merrier the kitchen will be.

Kitchen hours: Sunday through Friday:  8:00am – 12:30pm
                            Monday through Friday:  1:30pm – 4:00pm

So, come on in and share your culinary skills – or learn some new ones – for an hour, or a day!  Every bit helps toward reaching accomplishing the Project Angel Food mission!

Special Events:

Met Home Showhouse:  If you love modern architecture and design, support Project Angel Food by visiting the Metropolitan Home’s Showhouse between March 29th and April 21st.  All the details are available on the Met Home’s page. 

We will also be asking for volunteers for the VIP Preview Party and Cocktail Reception, as well as the Open Houses to be held Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout April.  Look for volunteer request e-mails coming soon to a computer near you!

Bowling for Angels: Get out your bowling ball, bowling shoes and a group of friends for the April 22nd Bowling for Angels event.  Check out the Bowling for Angels page for more information. 

If you would like to volunteer to help with checking in teams, the raffle drawings, distributing prizes, etc., watch your e-mail for details.

Hollywood Walk to Deliver: Join hundreds of walkers on June 24th for a 3.5 mile walk through Hollywood from the current  Project Angel Food location on Sunset Boulevard to our new location on Vine Street!  Visit the Hollywood Walk to Deliver page for all the details on walking to help feed people in need.

If you would like to join in the fun in a different way, there will be many volunteer opportunities during the day of the walk, and in the months leading up to it.  As always, check your e-mail for details for the volunteer opportunities!

Delivery Request: Calling delivery Angels that are available for the Silver Lake area – all days of the week are open!  Please contact Barry at 323.845.1800 ext. 444 to reserve a date. 

If you are interested in delivering in the West Hollywood area – Monday and Tuesday routes are available.  Please contact Judi at 323.436.5050 to reserve a route.

Office Request:  We are looking for a computer and phone savvy volunteer to assist regularly with ongoing office projects.  She/he should be available at least once a week for a couple of hours. Those interested should contact us at (323)845-1816 or volunteers@angelfood.org.
