On Saturday, September 28, 2024, Project Angel Food will host our Annual Angel Awards Gala! As our 922 Vine Street kitchen - the delivery hub of 145,000 medically tailored meals per month - undergoes construction, we are excited to share that Angel Awards will be held at world renowned MILK Studios two blocks away!
Since 1989, Project Angel Food has prepared and delivered more than 17 million meals to the most vulnerable in our community. Services increased by 54% post pandemic, and we currently prepare, and hand deliver free, Medically Tailored Meals to more than 4,000 men, women and children living with life-threatening illnesses annually - 2,500 on any given day, throughout all 4,753 square miles of Los Angeles County. 86 cents of every dollar raised goes directly toward our agency operations to purchase food, fuel, and other essential supplies to meet the growing need for our services. We are privileged to have a four-star rating on Charity Navigator for our responsible stewardship of donor contributions and excellent service to those we serve.
